Last Three F-16s leave Michigan Behind

Monday January 12th saw the last three F-16s of the 127th FW of the Michigan Air National Guard at Selfridge AFB leave Michigan behind for their new home at Fort Wayne, Indiana and the 122th FW of the Indiana Air National Guard. The 127th FW is changing to the A-10 as the fleet from Battle Creek, MI move to over to Selfridge.

290.425 Cleveland Center 02:29pm. MACE 91 passing 10 for 14
thousand, left turn direct Fort Wayne 02:30pm. Center
MACE 91 req dir FREEDOM (Hilltop MOA) that's Fox Romeo
Echo Delta Mike, 02:31pm.

138.626 A/A Looks like we're not going to make it to
the MOA in time. we'll go dir FWA & do some low app's
to burn down gas then land.

02:39pm. Left 230, MACE leaving 14 thousand for 11
thousand, 02:45pm.

for Uniform radio, 1 & 3 are both code 1, 02:40pm.
MACE push it up to MACH .85, 02:43pm.

272.725 FWA twr, never heard them switch to twr.
