88th Air Base Wing Takes A "Time-Out" For Suicide Prevention

The 88th Air Base Wing, the host unit at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base has suspended part of their normal operations for the day to address the rise of suicides involving personnel from the base. Officials within the base have stated that the past six months have seen four apparent suicides. The base is taking a "time-out" today to bring awareness to its 5,500 military and civilian on base personnel and other organizations around the base, that there are Air Force programs and help available for those who maybe considering suicide.
